This plastering project involved plastering walls and ceilings in Palmers Green, North London.

Our plasterers were tasked with plastering the walls and ceilings of a through-lounge in an Edwardian home. The owner was keen to retain the character features of the property, so we were careful to restore the coving and ceiling sympathetically to ensure the ceiling rose and plaster features were preserved.

Firstly our plasterers prepared the surfaces by filling holes and made good the damaged wall and ceiling surfaces. They then neatened corners and concealed minor damage such as scuffs, bumps and cracks with a smooth base coat of plaster. Our skilled plasterers then applied a smooth top coat of plaster and skimmed the walls to create flush plastered wall and ceiling surfaces with crisp corners.

Once our plasterer’s work was completed and the plastered walls and ceilings were dry, our decorators were then able to paint all of the walls and the ceiling in the colours chosen by the client.

As you can see from the photos, the finished room was significantly transformed and once the furniture was back in place with all of their belongings, it created a cosy, modern living space. We only wish we had been able to take photos before any work started and once the room was returned to a neat living space, so you could see the finished article.
