Conservatory Wall Plastering

This projects saw our plasterers in Kent, on a project working for a client who had just installed a conservatory on the rear of their home. The structural work completed and electrical points fitted, our plasterers task was to plaster the exterior wall and the brickwork walls below the conservatory windows to create smooth plaster finishes ready for decorating.

Our plasterers applied two coats of plaster to the exterior wall. Firstly a course base known as ‘scratch coat’ of was applied to the brick wall surface in order to bond a layer of wall plaster. Once that plaster had a dried, a ‘top coat’ of smooth plaster was then applied to the wall to create the clean and smooth plaster surfaces, which were left a finish ready for painting and decorating.
